Our Team

Dr. Ali Walizada is one of the founders of MSK Clinics and sees patients of all ages at the Kitsilano location in Vancouver, BC. 

Dr. Ali Walizada received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Portland, Oregon, graduating Summa Cum Laude.  He also holds the designation of Fellow with the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences, Canada’s only recognized designation for chiropractic sports specialists. This designation requires several additional years of study, research and sports fieldwork to complete. 

Dr. Ali served as Team Chiropractor for the WHL’s Vancouver Giants for numerous years and continues to serve as a game Chiropractor. He draws from his experience working with elite athletes to bring the same level of expertise to his patients in the clinic. He has extensive experience providing care for the Vancouver Canucks, IIHF World Juniors, LPGA tournaments, MMA athletes, endurance athletes and many others.

His treatment approach is a blend of manual therapy employing SFMA® (Selective functional movement assessment), FR® (Functional range release), ART® (Active release technique), Spinal manipulation and Shockwave therapy. He will customize treatment based on each patient’s preferences.

Dr. Ali has a keen interest in identifying the root cause of problems. He has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the entire musculoskeletal system from head to toe. Dr. Ali takes a compassionate approach and listens with genuine attentiveness to the needs and goals of patients.
